PostEverywhere™ Help Pages
Entering a Truck
Trucks are entered into PostEverywhere through the Single Truck window. Truck information includes Location, Destination, Available Date, Equipment Available, Length, Full/LTL, Comments, etc. There are additional fields for your internal use, which are not sent with your postings, but are seen by other users from your company. These include Status fields, User Defined fields, and Internal Notes.
How to Enter a Truck
- Press the Active button for Trucks from the left panel to open Active Trucks.
- Press the New Truck button on the top toolbar to open the Single Truck window.
- Enter the truck location information. Required fields are City, State, and Available Date. Available Time is optional.
- Enter the truck destination information. If you are willing to go anywhere, leave this section blank. For best results, use the least restrictive destination possible. If you enter a state and check the box below to add surrounding state/areas, PostEverywhere will make use of zones, regions, and surrounding state options for those posting sites that provide them.
- Enter the equipment information. All fields are required in this section. They are Truck Type, Full/Partial, Length, and Quantity.
- Enter a comment if you want. This is the last field that will be sent when your truck is posted to websites or sent by email, and no further information is required.
- Enter any Status or User information, and an Internal Note if you want. Note: This information is not posted and will be available only to other users within your company. If you have a single user account, only you will see this information.
- Save, or Save and Post your truck.
- Press the Save button to save the truck to Active Trucks.
- Press the Post and Save button to save and send the truck to your website list.
- Press Cancel to close the window without saving or sending the truck.
Note: If you are a member of a company with multiple users, all of the trucks in your Active Trucks work area will be seen by the other users in your company.
