Entering Multiple Loads
The Multi Load window is a spread sheet style form for rapid data entry. Each load is on a single line of the spread sheet. This window has type-ahead support similar to the single entry form, but it does not contain any default values. It also can copy an entire row, which is useful for entering numerous identical or similar loads. All internal fields except the Notes field are also supported.
Enter Multiple Load Instructions
- Press the Active button for Loads from the left panel to open Active Loads.
- Press the Multi Entry button on the top toolbar to open the Multi Load window.
- Use the arrows, tab, and enter keys to navigate. Enter your first load on the top line.
- After completing load entry for the first load, repeat the process for additional loads as needed. Internal Notes are not available in the Multi Load Entry window.
- When you have completed entering loads, press the Save Loads button to save all entered loads to your active loads area, or the Save and Post button to send to websites and save. Use the Cancel and Close button to close the window without saving or sending any loads.
Additional Features
- Entry Short Cuts: To enter a date, just type the numbered day of the month and press Tab. To enter full or partial, just type an f or p and press Tab. To enter common truck types type the first letter and press Tab. Use the Down Arrow to scroll through the drop-down list.
- Clear Row: Use the Clear Row button to delete any partial or unwanted loads. The required fields and acceptable values are identical to the Single Load Entry window.
- Repeat Row: Place the cursor in any cell of a row containing data and press the Repeat Row button to create a duplicate entry. If you are entering a number of similar loads, you can enter all the common information on one row and make copies as needed. Then fill in the fields requiring unique data for each load.
Note: If you are a member of a company with multiple users, all of the loads in your Active Loads area will be seen by the other users in your company.
