Taking Trucks Off Websites

PostEverywhere can remove your truck information from websites once the truck is no longer available. You can do this two ways. To take a truck off of websites but leave it in your active trucks list, use the TAKE OFF WEBSITES button. To take a truck off of websites and remove it from your active trucks area, use the REMOVE button. For multi-user accounts, only the user who posted a truck can remove it from websites.

How to Take Off Websites (but leave as active)

  1. Select Active Trucks from the left panel to open Active Trucks.
  2. Highlight one or more trucks from the list and press the TAKE OFF WEBSITES button. Truck cancels will be sent to all websites that received the truck. The same type of progress window appears when you remove trucks as when you send them.
  3. Press the OK button in the Progress window when removal is complete.

How to Remove from Websites (and remove from active)

  1. Select Active Trucks from the left panel to open Active Trucks.
  2. Highlight one or more trucks from the list and press the REMOVE button. Truck cancels will be sent to all websites that received the truck, and the truck will be moved to history. The same type of progress window appears when you remove trucks as when you send them. If you are removing trucks that are not on any websites, the progress window will only display an overall progress bar.
  3. Press the OK button in the Progress window when removal is complete.

Note: If removal fails for one or more trucks with one or more websites, you will be notified and given the option to "Remove Anyway". If you do not choose to remove anyway, you can then try to remove it again. Usually a removal that fails on the first try will succeed on the second. If you choose to remove anyway, the truck(s) will remain on the website until the website deletes it unless you log in to the website and remove it manually.
