Entering Multiple Trucks

The Multi Truck Entry window is a spread sheet style entry form for rapid data entry. Each truck is on a single line of the spread sheet. This window has type-ahead support similar to the single entry form, but it does not contain any default values. It also can copy an entire row, which is useful for entering numerous identical or similar trucks. All internal fields except the Notes field are also supported.

Enter Multiple Truck Instructions

  1. Select Active Trucks from the left panel to open Active Trucks.
  2. Press the MULTI button on the top toolbar to open the Multi Truck Entry window.
  3. Use the arrows, tab, and enter keys to navigate. Enter your first truck on the top line. The background for that line will change from grey to white. Any line with data entered will be white.
  4. After completing truck entry for the first truck, repeat the process for additional trucks as needed. Internal Notes are not available in the Multi Truck Entry window.
  5. When you have completed entering trucks, press the OK button to save all entered trucks to your active trucks area, or the POST button to send to websites and save to your active trucks area. Use the CANCEL button to close the window without saving or sending any trucks.

Additional Features

  • Entry Short Cuts: To enter a date, just type the numbered day of the month and press Tab. To enter full or partial, just type an f or p and press Tab. To enter common truck types type the first letter and press Tab. Use the Down Arrow to scroll through the drop-down list.
  • Clear Row: Use the CLEAR ROW button to delete any partial or unwanted trucks. The required fields and acceptable values are identical to the Single Truck Entry window.
  • Repeat Row: Place the cursor in any cell of a row containing data and press the REPEAT ROW button to create a duplicate entry. If you are entering a number of similar trucks, you can enter all the common information on one row and make copies as needed. Then fill in the fields requiring unique data for each truck.
  • Cut, Copy and Paste: You can use standard Cut(Ctrl+X), Copy(Ctrl+C), and Paste(Ctrl+V) functions in the Multi Truck Entry window.

Note: If you are a member of a company with multiple users, all of the loads in your Active Loads area will be seen by the other users in your company.
