PostEverywhere™ Help Pages

About the Progress Window

The Progress Window will be displayed any time PostEverywhere posts a load or truck, takes a load or truck off of websites, or sends a load or truck email. There is an overall progress meter across the top of the window, and individual meters plus a message field for each website. When sending emails, there is just a single meter for all email recipients.

Meters
Different websites will progress at different rates. Some sites will send all at once, while others will send one load (or truck) at a time, or in blocks of 20 to 200, depending on the website. This does not mean your loads (or trucks) have actually been posted, although most sites will have your loads and trucks posted in under a minute. There are a few sites which take longer due to the manner in which they process incoming postings.
Status
At the bottom of the window, the status indicator will go from Checking to Sending to Updating. Once the process is complete, the status indicator will be set to either Done, Done (some skipped), or Done (with errors). If there were any skips or errors, the message for that site will turn into link. Click on the link to see the reason for the skip or error.
Skips
Most skips are due to unsupported truck types. Although PostEverywhere attempts to map your posting to the truck types used by each website, it is not always possible.
For example, if Auto Carrier is not supported, there is no other truck type that is sufficiently similar, and it will be skipped. Conversely, if a website does not support Air-Ride Van, your load or truck will be posted as a Van, usually with Air-Ride added to the comment. Skips may also occur if you click the Stop button while sending.
Errors
Errors can be due to a number of factors. If you receive an error, it is best to repeat the process for the postings affected. Most often the postings will be sent or removed correctly on a second attempt. If you receive repeated errors, please contact us.
Out of Service
If a website is having technical difficulties, we may make that site unavailable for posting until they resolve their problems. This will be noted in the message for that site.
