PostEverywhere™ Help Pages

Custom Website (FTP)

The Custom Website (FTP) format sends files directly from your computer to another computer via FTP (File Transfer Protocol).

The Custom Website (FTP) window allows you to change the FTP address, username, password, and file name as may be required by the website.

Important! - For the Custom Website (FTP) option to work you must first be able to send files electronically to a website via FTP. This means you must have a file format that will be accepted by the website and information on where to send it. Once you are sending files via FTP to a website, PostEverywhere can automate the process of generating the file and transferring it from your computer to the website. If you have a file you are currently able to send via FTP to a website, contact us and we will incorporate the file format into your version of PostEverywhere.

Custom Website (FTP) Instructions

  1. Contact us for information on where to send the file format you wish to incorporate within your PostEverywhere software.
  2. We will contact you once the format has been incorporated in your PostEverywhere software. Now, just add the ftp address, username, and password provided by the website into the setup window and you are ready to begin posting to the website using PostEverywhere.
