PostEverywhere™ Help Pages

Custom Website Feature

PostEverywhere provides two custom ways to post to websites. If a website you wish to post to is not currently on the PostEverywhere compatible website list, contact them to see if they will accept your postings electronically, either by email or FTP (file transfer protocol).

Important! - For the Custom Website options to work you must first be able to send files electronically to a website via email or FTP. This means you must have a file format that will be accepted by the website and information on where to send it. Once you are sending files electronically to a website, PostEverywhere can automate the process of generating the file and transmitting it from your computer to the website. If you have a file you are currently able to send to a website, contact us and we will incorporate the file format into your version of PostEverywhere.

  • Custom Email This method uses PostEverywhere email technology to post your loads and trucks. When you press the Post to Websites button, PostEverywhere formats your data according to your custom specifications and sends your postings via email directly from your computer to the website email address you entered in the Custom Website (Email) Setup Window.
  • Custom FTP This method uses PostEverywhere FTP technology to post your loads and trucks. When you press the Post to Websites button, PostEverywhere formats your data according to your custom specifications and sends your postings via FTP directly from your computer to the website FTP address you entered in the Custom Website (FTP) Setup Window.
